Here on the very left you can see where the red wire from the regulated 5Vdc was soldered to the main line, the black wire from the battery was soldered in on the GND line, as well as the red wire to the Input and regulated output legs of the regulator. Well, you can't see the wires exactly, but you can see the solder that holds them to their holes.
